The New Roads and Street Works Act requires that anyone who executes, works for, or on behalf of, a utility company, is qualified for the activities being carried out.
A NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor is anyone who carries out the monitoring of manual excavation and reinstatement of footpaths and highways.

Certification
On successfully achieving a pass mark on both the practical and online assessment the candidate will qualify for a SQA certificate of unit achievement. Depending which units are achieved we will then apply for their SWQR card, which will enable them to carry out New Roads and Street works activities on the highway in line with legislative requirements.
