DESCRIPTION:1 Day\nDelegates: 1 – 12\nDescription\n\n\n\n\nThe Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 requires that all employees have fire safety training to comply with these regulations \n\n\n\n\nCourse Aim\n\n\n\n\nTo provide the participants with – an awareness of the principals of fire prevention\, how to deal with small fires and the safety procedures once a fire has been detected. \n\n\n\n\nObjectives\n\n\n\n\nOn completion of the training the participant will be able to: \n\n\nIdentify fire extinguishers\nChoose the correct extinguisher\nKnow fire evacuation procedures\nOperate fire extinguishers correctly\nCommon causes of fire\nHuman behaviour\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAssessment\n\n\n\n\nAt the end of the course the participants will be asked to do a short written test to confirm understanding and awareness. \n\nCertification \nLuddon Construction Ltd Certificate for in-house courses. \nRefresher Period \nRefresher Course recommended after 3 years.
