It covers the training and assessments needed for safe detection and excavation of underground utility services, utilising recognised and approved methods.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>This course is designed for managers, supervisors, safety professionals, and operatives who are responsible for overseeing or performing tasks involving the detection of underground services and safe excavation practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Content<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpret utility plan drawings and identify symbols and coded information<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and use location equipment to locate a range of underground services<\/li>\n<li>Identify the dangers and hazards associated with underground services<\/li>\n<li>Recognise why some services are more difficult to locate<\/li>\n<li>Carry out site marking using appropriate methods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Certification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates will receive an EUSR photo ID card detailing their qualification which is valid for 5 Years<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Duration 1 Day Candidates: 3 \u2013 6 This EUSR Category 1: Locate Utility Services.
