Luddon Construction Charity Golf Day & Sportsman’s Dinner Raises £50,000 for The British Heart Foundation

As part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations, Luddon Construction was proud to host our Charity Golf Day and Sportsman’s Dinner on Friday 25th July 2025 at Drumpellier Golf Club, Coatbridge.

The fantastic event brought together our valued clients, consultants, and suppliers for a great cause. Thanks to everyone’s incredible support and generosity, we’re thrilled to announce that £50,000 was raised in aid of The British Heart Foundation.

The day teed off with a shotgun start and plenty of energy, fuelled by hot rolls, tea and coffee. With great conditions on the course and some competitive spirit from all the teams, the golf was both enjoyable and hotly contested. Congratulations to all the winning teams!

One of the highlights of the day was our £50,000 hole-in-one challenge at the 7th hole, which added an exciting edge to the competition. While no one managed to claim the big prize, remarkably, we witnessed not one but two hole-in-ones on the day, at the 5th and 14th holes! A huge congratulations to the lucky (and very skilled) golfers who achieved these incredible shots.

The evening saw everyone come together for a fantastic Sportsman’s Dinner, featuring incredible guest speakers, Allan Rough and John Gaughan.

A huge thank you to those who took part in our raffle and blind auction, which contributed significantly to the total funds raised.

We would like to express our gratitude to all our suppliers who generously sponsored the event and to every person who attended, donated, or supported the day in any way. Your contributions have made a real difference, helping to fund life-saving research and support through the British Heart Foundation.

It was a special day of camaraderie, reflection and celebration, and a fitting way to mark 50 years of Luddon Construction.

Thank you once again from all of us at Luddon.
