How the Southern England Division Complements Luddon’s UK Operations

While Luddon already delivers a broad range of works across England and Scotland, our Southern England Division has been established to focus specifically on highway maintenance and resurfacing. Over the past year, we have built a specialist division to address gaps identified in the market by our Operations and Divisional Manager.

Our Sectors and Services

The Southern team covers all types of infrastructure projects, including:

• S278 and S38 works

• Minor civils

• Machine and hand-lay surfacing

• Full-spectrum highway maintenance, including streetlighting

Meet Kevin Bunday – Divisional Manager

Leading the Southern England Division is Kevin Bunday, a construction industry veteran with over 40 years of experience spanning:

• Highway maintenance

• Housebuilding

• Town centre redevelopment

• Major infrastructure projects

Kevin’s expertise covers the health and safety, commercial, technical and delivery aspects of construction. Having held every position in the industry, from labourer to construction director, he understands the value of every role in a project’s success.

He is known for building strong reputations based on trust, leadership, and collaboration, delivering projects safely, on time, and within or under budget.

Why Luddon?

When asked why he chose to join Luddon Construction, Kevin’s response was clear:
“The people – simple as that really. I like the ethos and mantra of Luddon. Although I haven’t had many employers over my 40 years, it’s important that when I join a company, I buy into the company, but just as important to me are the people they employ. I had multiple offers before I settled on Luddon, and that was down to the two MDs, the operations director, and another divisional manager I had met during a previous employment.”
