Project Description

Construction of a new retail park with additional outlets, the main Home bargains unit having a garden centre. All associated utilities, new car park, access roads, service yards & external services, all soft landscaping will be constructed as part of the work.

The work will carried out in 6 phases

Phase section 1a – Construction of New road adjacent caravan Park

Phase section 1b – RCC works and works along Dundee Road including forming access into new site, and utility diversions. Site Preparation works also included in this phase start date TBC pending roads department.

Phase 1 section 3 – Construction of new Home Bargains, Garden Centre and External Works

Phase 1 section 4  – External works for unit 2 and 5

Phase 1 Section 5 – Construction of Costa Coffee

Phase 1 Section 6 – MKM/Aldi  and external works

This development has transformed the site into a modern, high-quality retail destination, delivering a range of new outlets including a flagship Home Bargains store with garden centre, ALDI, MKM Building Supplies and standalone Greggs and Costa Coffee drive-thru.

Works Included

Our scope of works covered the full construction of the retail park, including:

• Development of new access infrastructure, incorporating road construction and connections to the existing network.
• Extensive groundworks and reinforced concrete works to prepare and service the site.
• Delivery of multiple retail units, each tailored to tenant requirements.
• Construction of service yards and associated delivery infrastructure.
• Installation of all utilities and external services to support the development.
• Formation of a large customer car park with associated drainage and surfacing.
• Completion of soft landscaping to enhance the overall environment and customer experience.
