Cumberhead Collector Substation

Project Description

Cumberhead and Dalquhandy wind farm have agreed to a shared connection point, which will consist of shared 120MVA 132/33kV transformer at the new Cumberhead Collector substation which will be situated within the Dalquhandy Wind Farm boundary close to Stockhill Farm, near Coalburn.

Works Included

Excavation and construction of various concrete foundations
Excavation of trenches and installation of cable ducts and foul and surface water drainage
Supply and installation of cable trenches
Excavation and installation of below ground earthing
Construction and maintenance of roadways and perimeter footpath
Construction of palisade fence and gates
