Gateside Retail Park, Haddington

Project Description

Construction of new Retail Park with 5 individual shell units for Aldi, Home Bargains, Iceland and Costa Coffee as part of a large new development area on the west side of Haddington.

Works Included

Reinforced concrete foundations
Erection of steel framed buildings
Concrete slabs depending on polished or terrazzo floor finishes
Dividing walls with blockwork and fire lined metal stud partitions. Deep steel beam head detailing and column framing out to meet fire regulations
Cladding with Kingspan, rock panel
Stone cladding on Costa Drive Thru
Car park with surfacing and permeable paving to increase the drainage attenuation on site
Drainage – 2000m^³ attenuation system, orifice plates and hydro brake to minimise flow rates to the Scottish Water System
Concrete service yard with unit specific plant compound areas and acoustic fencing
Off site – footpaths, toucan crossing and utility/drainage connections
Landscaping installation and maintenance
