Inchinnan Cycleway

Project Description

Improvement to the existing Non-Motorised User (NMU) travel provision and provision of new footways/cycleways located along Greenock Road.

The scheme length is 1.8km, commencing at Inchinnan Drive Roundabout, heading east, where it ties in with the Black Cart Cycle Bridge.




Works Included

  • Widening out of the eastbound existing footway provision to form a series of shared and separated footways and cycleways
  • Dropped crossings to lead cyclists into the new segregated cycleway
  • Upgrades to the existing signalised crossing
  • New traffic signals
  • Repositioned kerb lines
  • New diagonal cyclist crossing
