Project Description

The project involves the formation of new access junction at Balmore Road and Lochfaulds Road and new compound storage area for the Lochfaulds Solar Park.

Works Included

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱:
𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭𝗕 (𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱):
– Construction of a new south access track
– Upgrades to east side access track
– Installation of new drainage under the access track
– Foundations for CCTV installations
– Duct crossing at Lochfauld Road
– Excavation and installation of various ducting works

𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮 (𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 & 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀):
– New access tracks across site
– Drainage systems under new tracks
– Additional drainage south of the substation and north of the central hardstanding
– Foundations for CCTV and inverters
– Site fencing and installation of gates
– Breakout and granulation of the remainder of Lochfauld Road
– Installation of new culvert
– Excavation and installation of various ducting works
