New Cumnock Substation Platform Extension

Project Description

This project is currently on-site and involves extending the current substation platform to create space to allow additional electrical infrastructure to be installed.

Works Included

Creation of a new bellmouth access on the B741 to allow access to the work area
Construction of temporary drainage measures to control any water generated during construction activities
Cut and fill activities to achieve the required levels for the extended platform
Deep soil mixing to stabilise the ground under the extended platform
Piling operations
Construction of a concrete slab
Stoning up of the extended platform to the required level
