The project is a newbuild manufacturing facility, approx. 220,000sqft, on a 16.6 acre brownfield site set within the Gartcosh Industrial Park, with associated parking, landscaping and infrastructure. The Client (Guala Closures UK) manufacture bottle ‘closures’ (or tops) for the UK and international bottled drinks market.
The building itself will be predominantly single storey with low pitched roof and feature 2-storey corner offices which face towards the roundabout at Craignethan Drive on the eastern side of the site.
The main single storey manufacturing facility space is configured to suit complex operational requirements and comprises a number of fire separating compartments.
