We were delighted to donate £500 to the 103rd Reading Scout Group in West Reading, which will go towards the construction of their new building. The group has grown significantly over the years and provides opportunities and support for around 80 young people aged 6 to 18 from a wide range of backgrounds within the local community.
It’s great to be able to contribute to a community group that is local to a couple of projects our Southern England Division are currently delivering. Supporting initiatives that create lasting benefits for local people is something we are passionate about as a business.
The new facility will provide a much-needed larger and more modern space for scouting activities, community events and wider local use, helping the group continue its fantastic work for many years to come!
