New Cumnock Substation Platform Extension

Project Description

This project is currently on-site and involves extending the current substation platform to create space to allow additional electrical infrastructure to be installed.




Works Included

  • Creation of a new bellmouth access on the B741 to allow access to the work area
  • Construction of temporary drainage measures to control any water generated during construction activities
  • Cut and fill activities to achieve the required levels for the extended platform
  • Deep soil mixing to stabilise the ground under the extended platform
  • Piling operations
  • Construction of a concrete slab
  • Stoning up of the extended platform to the required level
