Your Health, Your Future
Our Past, Present and Future Focus
At Luddon we will continue to shine a light on how important your health is…
Whether we do this through regularly providing information and resources for mental health awareness and for physical health. Current and future health is for everyone working in the construction industry.
Across the construction industry we often face high-pressure projects, long hours, and physically demanding tasks. These conditions alone can lead to stress, anxiety and burnout, yet far too often the quality of our mental health is still a stigmatized topic.
With negative impact rates among construction workers much higher than the national average, prioritizing mental well-being is not a moral responsibility, it’s a lifesaving one.
Luddon will continue to raise awareness to break down barriers, to encourage open conversations and opportunities for early intervention. We also deliver Mental Health First Aid Training, another accredited course available at the Luddon Training Centre.
Becoming a Mental Health First Aider helps to create and develop a successful culture of care, where everyone feels supported and valued – not just for as skilled labour but as the individual person they are.
By continuing to embed mental health in our health and safety culture and of course, across our wider culture, Luddon Construction, and the construction industry as a whole will continue to build not only the structures and infrastructures of the future, but more importantly, a healthier, more resilient workforce, where you are fit for the future in every sense.
