Luddon Construction have been appointed to deliver the refurbishment of retail units at Westway Retail Park, Cumbernauld by repeat client, TJ Morris Ltd.
Unit 5 and 10 (end terrace) and 5a, 6, 8 and 9 (mid terrace) have been recently vacated and now require to be combined to form two single retail units of 31,400sqft and 20,700sqft.
The design team appointed to this project consist of Faithful+Gould as Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor, Smith Design Associates as Architect and Principal Designer, Goodson Associates as Structural and Civil Engineer and RSP Consulting Engineers as M&E Consultants.
The works will involve demolition of internal walls, installation of new concrete and steelwork, roofing and cladding, new services, external groundworks, surfacing, signage and street furniture.
Once complete, Home Bargains and Aldi UK will occupy the new units.
