Luddon Construction undertake volunteer project to support St Andrew’s Hospice

Luddon Construction is proud to announce its involvement in a volunteer project to support St Andrew’s Hospice (Lanarkshire).

The hospice is transforming a neglected retail unit in Coatbridge into a vibrant shopping outlet. This new retail space will play a crucial role in raising much-needed funds for the hospice, which provides essential care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses across Lanarkshire.

As part of Luddon Construction’s commitment to giving back to the community, the company is donating its services to enhance the external areas of the property, ensuring the space is both welcoming and functional for future shoppers. The project includes a complete vegetation strip, jet washing, laying new stone chips, general tidying, and rebuilding walls where necessary to restore the unit’s exterior to a high standard.

A spokesperson for Luddon Construction commented on the project, saying, “We are thrilled to be supporting St Andrew’s Hospice on this special project. Their mission to provide essential care to those in need is close to our hearts, and we are delighted to contribute to their efforts. This new retail unit will be an important fundraising outlet, and we are excited to see it thrive.”

St Andrew’s Hospice has been a cornerstone of compassionate care in Lanarkshire, and this new shop will provide the community with a place to donate and purchase items, directly supporting the hospice’s mission. The transformation of the Coatbridge retail unit will not only enhance the local area but will also provide a vital source of income to sustain the hospice’s invaluable services.

With the exterior improvements completed, Luddon Construction looks forward to seeing the final result and the positive impact this new shopping outlet will have for both the hospice and the local community when it opens later on in the year.
