As Luddon Construction continue our excellent working relationship with Forth Ports, we are delighted that our December Safety Award has been presented to the team delivering the Border Control Post Project in Grangemouth. This Award not only represents ongoing excellent Safety performance in all aspects of the project but is also indicative of the type of culture that allows for continual improvement.
The Border Control Post Project involves piling works to the building footprint, concrete foundations and erection of the Border Control Post building, including steel frame, cladding panels, dock levellers, internal offices and search pods. The works also comprise erection of a small reception building, secure perimeter fencing, construction of a large concrete hardstanding as a waiting area for lorries and a new car park.
Working within the Construction Industry is always challenging and these are now even more prevalent with the ongoing current COVID-19 Pandemic and the introduction of additional controlling measures to help keep all of our sites COVID Secure!
Luddon continue without fail to value the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of our employees and everyone we work with and it is therefore with great pleasure that the December Safety Award was presented to Site Manager, Robert Howie, Excavator Operator, William Kerr and Ground Worker, Terry Nelson by our Health and Safety Advisor, Frank Oliver.
