Construction Commences on Arbroath Retail Park

Luddon Construction has officially begun work on the eagerly anticipated Arbroath Retail Park for client TJ Morris Ltd.

The project marks a substantial investment in the local economy and community. The retail park will feature multiple outlets, including a flagship 30,000 sqft Home Bargains store complete with a 10,000 sqft garden centre.

The project will be executed in six planned phases, with the works involving:

Construction of a new road adjacent to the caravan park.
Road construction works and development along Dundee Road, including site access formation and utility diversions, subject to final approval from the roads department.
Construction of the Home Bargains and garden centre and carrying out associated external works.
External works for additional units 2 and 5.
Construction of a new drive thru outlet.
Development of further units, along with external works.

The design team involved in this development includes; P3 Consulting as Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor, Smith Design Associates and Architect, Ramage young Consulting as Engineer and DSSR as M&E Consultant.

The project is due for completion by Summer 2025.
