Luddon Construction have been contracted to deliver a new Energy Building at Stewarton Academy for East Ayrshire Council.
The project consists of mostly ground works to facilitate the installation of a concrete floor slab. This floor will accommodate the boiler plant and associated equipment, as well as the structure consisting of a metal frame with cavity wall brick and blockwork.
The works also include the formation of a delivery area with all hard and soft landscaping, formation of boundary retaining walls, parking bays and street lighting.
The Stewarton Academy site team have been presented with the Luddon Construction Safety Award for April due to excellent ongoing proactive safety performance, which involved taking part in Site Inspections, Senior Management Safety Inspections and the all-important Safety Observation Conversations.
The team have also continually highlighted opportunities for improvement through the use of the Luddon Safety Observation Reporting System.
Luddon Construction value the health, safety and well-being of our employees and everyone we work with and continually strive for the very best health and safety performance at all times. The monthly Safety Award is presented to the project with the highest performance rating based on monitoring activity carried out by our senior management teams and HSE team.
Well done to all involved on the project!
